Because it's over and you didn't win. We received a lot of great entries, but there were those where it was clear somebody didn't try to hard. Almost as though they were trying to lose. You know who you are, Stacy Wilkins of Bluff Falls, Colorado.
Although it took far longer than one should reasonably expect, we finally finished the prize for the winner of the Create Your Own Manchester Resident Contest. Wally Czyzniak of Windsor Locks, CT won this piece of artwork featuring his own character, Mr. Delivery.
If you're unfamiliar with this contest, it appeared in our first Truth Serum book. Contestants had to slog through our text heavy rules and guidelines and then fill out a form (seen below). Once that was done, they would create their own Manchester resident. Anything from a baby girl to Wolverine were welcome.
And here's Wally's winning entry. Sure, his artistic skills may be slightly rough, but he makes up for it in effort and the fact that his aunt is pretty hot and he took some pictures of her sleeping. Meow!
