Where's Gareb?

Back from the Wizard World Chicago, we had a wonderful time drawing sketches for people, eating overpriced "food" and seeing grown men parade around in skin-tight clothing. Here's a picture of Jon Adams pretending to draw.

Our friends and hosts Sean Murphy and Zach Howard got into a fight over which guy dressed as a Stormtrooper was the coolest.

We tracked down Matt Kindt and got him to autograph a copy of The Protectorate, a very early comic to which he contributed. A good sport, he was even willing to pose with it. Hiding out of embarassment behind him is Top Shelf publisher Chris Staros.

When God took it in his hands to cancel our return flight using one of his powerful storms, we were stuck in Chicago for another night. Fortunately we met two fellow artists in the same predicment who had just been comped a room by the airline. Joshua Ortega and Jay (last name forgotten) were super kind and generous, allowing a complete stranger to stay with them.

Special thanks to Zach Howard, Thompson Knox and Sean Murphy.
