She's Fantastic, Made of Plastic
We recently completed a comission for a kindly fellow in the UK. We will call this man "Burtburt," as he prefers to remain anonymous.
Burtburt requested that we draw him a robot. Any robot. In exchange for this, Burtburt would give us money. His money. The only stipulation being that the robot be one from popular culture. With countless robots from which to choose (Data, Twiki, Pinocchio, Big Bird et al.), we chose Vicki, the child-bot sensation from TV's Small Wonder!
Granted, our rendition may look a bit portly and mannish. But compared to the figure of her male counterpart, she's a fine specimen of the female (robotic) form.
